HEALTH & SAFETY
As regulated healthcare professionals, BC RMT’s are required to adhere to bylaws and regulations put in place by their governing body, the College of Complimentary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC).
Failing to adhere, or refusing to uphold, the regulations and bylaws put in place by the CCHPBC could result in the therapist losing their license.
Patients’ safety as well as our own, is our foremost concern. RMT’s ensure a safe practice environment by self-monitoring for any symptoms related to COVID-19, the flu, or any other potentially contagious condition.
Therapists will continually monitor their symptoms.
Therapists will not come in to work if they are experiencing symptoms.
Hand & arm hygiene will be practiced (as usual) before and after every treatment.
High contact surfaces will be cleaned throughout the day including massage tables, table accessories, door handles, light switches, etc.
As patients we require you ask yourself this question before attending your massage…
“DO I CURRENTLY HAVE ANY COLD OR FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS?”
If you answer “yes” DO NOT ATTEND YOUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT.
Call, text, or email the clinic to cancel and reschedule.
